Rough Riders Ski & Snowboard Lessons | Ages 5-7

Slopeside adventures for 5 to 7 year old skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. Our specially trained, energetic and enthusiastic instructors create a fun experience for all as they help kids explore the mountain and reach their full potential.

Due to limited availability, we recommend you purchase your lift access at the same time you purchase your lesson to ensure you will have lift access for all of your lesson days. If lift tickets are sold out, please call 877-482-1466 and have your order number confirming your lesson purchase ready when calling to secure lift tickets. There are no waitlists for Mountain Sports School lessons.

Rough Riders Class Lesson

One of our specially trained professional ski or snowboard instructors will focus on improving your 5 to 7-year-olds skiing or riding with an emphasis on safety and fun.

Why This Lesson Small class sizes provide individual attention and learning tailored to your child. Rough Rider instructors are energetic, enthusiastic, and specially trained to teach children.

What to Bring

Children’s equipment rentals are available at JH Sports. Please allow 1 hour for the rental process. Or bring properly fitted (and adjusted) skis/boards and boots that you have already arranged. Lift ticket should be in a safe pocket. Don't forget gloves or goggles.
Lesson Times

Check in from 9-9:30 am. Lessons begin at 9:30 am and end at 3:00 pm; lunch is included.

Private Lessons

Maximize your Jackson Hole experience with one of our top professionals in a private ski or snowboard lesson. Rough Rider private lessons provide personalized coaching tailored to children 5-7 years old with a focus on improving their skiing/riding skills while having a safe, fun day on the slopes.

Private lessons offer individualized coaching, lift line priority, and flexible meeting times and locations. Early Tram and Early Gondola access upgrades are available daily in limited quantities. Please call 307-739-2797 to inquire.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel without penalty if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Please call our Mountain Sports School at 877-590-2490 for any cancellations.

Please consider canceling as soon as you know you will not be able to take the lesson. Our instructors only earn money when they work, and it is difficult to reschedule them from last minute cancelations.
