Exploring Jackson Hole in the summertime is an amazing way to experience the Tetons in all their glory. With so much going on in the area during the summer months, we know it’s difficult to decide which activities to do. If you’re visiting the area and aren’t already planning to visit us in Teton Village, take a moment to read below and allow us to guide you on an unforgettable adventure. After all, adventure is what summer in the Tetons is all about.

1. Sightseeing

Take a ride on the iconic Aerial Tram up 4,139 vertical feet to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain and experience the Tetons in a whole new way! This is the most scenic way to see expansive views of the valley below, the high peaks of the Teton Range to the north (including the prominent summit of the Grand Teton), and the surrounding peaks. At the summit, soak in 360 degree views and you truly feel like you’re at the top of the world. Don’t forget to stop into Corbet’s Cabin for a world-famous waffle (or two) and indulge in golden-brown goodness with a view.

Your sightseeing ticket is valid for any of our operating lifts, including the Bridger Gondola. Take the ~10 minute ride to Rendezvous Lodge and stop by Off-Piste Market or Piste Restaurant for a quick bite, lunch, or a beverage. The Deck at golden hour is the place to be for aprés drinks and bites–check out our evening Gondola ticket for more details.

Don’t forget to purchase your sightseeing ticket in advance to save!

2. Biking

The Bike Park is ready to rip! Flow is the name of the game and we have plenty of thrilling trails off of Teewinot and Sweetwater Gondola. Check out our Bike Park map; you can purchase your Bike Park ticket here.

Come ride with us every Sunday throughout the summer for Sunday Funday Don't forget to track your laps in JH Insider.

Via Ferrata

3. Via Ferrata

The Tetons have always been a climber’s paradise and now you can get in on all the fun. Via Ferrata, or “iron way”, is a guided climbing experience that takes you through Casper Bowl, high above the valley floor, across bridges and up ladders on an adventure you’ll remember forever. Our guides make anyone with any climbing ability feel safe as they lead you on a tour of the rocky outcroppings and cliffs of the Bowl.
