Beginner Ski Lessons

Are you new to skiing? Welcome! Let us be your guide as you discover the joys of making turns. Join other likeminded skiers as we introduce you to the mountain, teach you the basics and help you improve your skills at our new learning center, Solitude Station.

Due to limited availability, we recommend you purchase your lift access at the same time you purchase your lesson to ensure you will have lift access for all of your lesson days. If lift tickets are sold out, please call 877-482-1466 and have your order number confirming your lesson purchase ready when calling to secure lift tickets. There are no waitlists for Mountain Sports School lessons.

Beginner Class Lessons

Time	Full day: 10:00am - 4:00pm Group leaves meeting area at 10:00am. Please arrive at  9:45am for group placement.
Why This Lesson	Personalized attention within our small groups will create the optimal learning environment while keeping safe distances. Lunch is included and is your time to take a break and refuel, then regroup in the afternoon to practice your skills and explore our novice to intermediate terrain.
Meeting place	Lesson check-in begins at 9:45am at Solitude station by the fire pit. Load the Sweetwater Gondola and get off at the first stop, look for the fire pit by Solitude North. A lift ticket is NOT required to ride Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude Station. You DO need a lift ticket if you are participating in a lesson.
What to Know	• If renting skis and boots, please allow 45 minutes to complete the rental process. • Make sure you are equipped with gloves and goggles before you arrive!

RESERVATIONS FOR ADULT CLASS LESSONS ARE REQUIRED. DUE TO LIMITED AVAILABILITY, WE RECOMMEND RESERVING YOUR LESSONS AS FAR IN ADVANCE AS POSSIBLE.

Private lessons are the ultimate CUSTOMIZED mountain experience. Enjoy personalized coaching with one of our top professionals who will tailor the lesson to your goals and expectations.

Private lessons offer individualized coaching, lift line priority, and flexible meeting times and locations. Early Tram and Early Gondola access upgrades are available daily in limited quantities. Please call 307-739-2797 to inquire.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel without penalty if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Please call our Mountain Sports School at 877-590-2490 for any cancellations.

Please consider canceling as soon as you know you will not be able to take the lesson. Our instructors only earn money when they work, and it is difficult to reschedule them from last minute cancelations.
