Join us for your ultimate mountain experience! We want you to have your best day on skis or a board ever... and our professional staff is poised to help you do that. Join our max 4 groups (never more than 4 in a group!) to perfect your turn, explore some new terrain, or simply have someone guide your day. What kind of day do you want to have?

Due to limited availability, we recommend you purchase your lift access at the same time you purchase your lesson to ensure you will have lift access for all of your lesson days. If lift tickets are sold out, please call 877-482-1466 and have your order number confirming your lesson purchase ready when calling to secure lift tickets. There are no waitlists for Mountain Sports School lessons.

Group Lessons

Start your ultimate mountain experience with our team of experienced ski and snowboard instructors. All of our adult group lessons have a maximum of 4 participants, so your instructor can provide individualized coaching and tailor the day to meet your needs. Master the basics in our welcoming novice zone or stretch your skills on our legendary big mountain terrain. Check out our Skier Level Assessment to sign up for the group lesson most suited to your current skiing/riding ability.

Time 10am - 4pm
Please arrive at  9:45am for group placement. Group leaves meeting area at 10:00am.

Meeting Place

Beginner & Novice Lessons: Check-in begins at 9:45am at Solitude Station by the fire pit. Load the Sweetwater Gondola and get off at the first stop, look for the fire pit by Solitude North.

Intermediate, Advanced & Expert Lessons: Check-in begins at 9:45am at the TOP of the Sweetwater Gondola by the red flags (do NOT get off at the first stop).

A lift ticket is NOT required to ride Sweetwater Gondola to Solitude Station. You DO need a lift ticket if you are participating in a lesson.

• If renting skis and boots, please allow 45 minutes to complete the rental process.  
• Make sure you are equipped with gloves and goggles before you arrive.
• Lunch is included.

Private Lessons

The ultimate CUSTOMIZED mountain experience. Your instructor tailors the session to your goals and expectations. Private lessons offer lift-line priority and the option to upgrade to early Tram or gondola access. Our top professionals introduce you to Jackson Hole's famous terrain and culture. Everyone - from beginners to experts - can benefit from a private lesson.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel without penalty if more than 24 hours’ notice is given.

If cancellation occurs within 24 hours, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Please call our Mountain Sports School at 877-590-2490 for any cancellations.

Please consider canceling as soon as you know you will not be able to take the lesson. Our instructors only earn money when they work, and it is difficult to reschedule them from last minute cancelations.
